Job summary

Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, Michigan is seeking an MMP Strategy Analyst to shape the SAP S4/HANA Materials Management Platform. You’ll work with IT, MP&L and partner teams to define future MP&L processes, design functional solutions, and enable streamlined production planning and inventory management.

The role involves leading requirements, coordinating testing and cutover activities, driving adoption, and ensuring effective data analytics to support the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of relevant or military experience.
• Prior SAP experience.
• Breadth of material planning, production planning and inventory management functional experience and understanding of key business processes and supporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Work within designated Business areas in MMP implementation.
• Work closely with cross functional team to layout existing business practices and understand future state functionality and capabilities within MMP on the SAP S4/Hana platform.
• Define future MP&L business processes and design the MMP functional solution to ensure workable and industry‑best solutions are defined for sustainable business.
• Make and own the decisions and approve/disapprove proposed solutions.
• Work with cross functional team to ensure workable and industry‑best design decisions are made and support requirement gathering across integrations with other systems.
• Review end to end business scenarios, devise UAT test cases, perform tests and validate test results.
• Communicate to the business teams on project status, changes and drive the changes.
• Coordinate testing scenarios, data requirements for testing, and cutover activities.
• Drive adoption of MMP on the SAP S4/Hana platform across the business teams
• Identify continuous improvements to MMP product through the development cycle
