Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a highly experienced SAP Functional Product Designer (expert in SAP S4 HANA SD & VMS) for the VI&D application. Based in Dearborn, MI, this hybrid role requires four days onsite per week and relocation assistance may be available.

You will lead modernization efforts, validate solutioning with system integrators, and guide cross-functional teams through design, build, test and deployment while maintaining security and controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 10+ years IT experience with SAP/S4 HANA SD & VMS.
• Strong Agile and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead/guide the SAP modernization effort of VI&D using SAP S4 HANA SD and SAP Vehicle Management System (VMS).
• Lead/guide the transition to SAP including validation, design, build, test, deployment, hyper-care and long-term support.
• Easily assimilate into the Global Team to shape modernization efforts of the application.
• Maintain accurate systems documentation and adhere to Ford security controls.
• Engage in technical discussions within the Application Team and interfacing apps.
• Demonstrate leadership in solving complex SAP technical challenges and guiding small teams.
