Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking an MMO II – Weld ARM Operator in Crystal Lake, IL. The role focuses on applying weld carbide material to steel wear parts, setting up ARM welding equipment, and reading blueprints to meet production specs.

You will inspect parts for dimensional accuracy, maintain quality standards, and work with cross‑functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Prior manufacturing and basic welding experience are required.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience required.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience using measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and gauges.
• Basic welding experience and knowledge of GD&T preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and commitment to workplace safety.

Responsibilities

Summary:

The MMO II – Weld ARM Operator is responsible for applying weld carbide material to steel wear parts and components to improve durability and extend product life. This position requires the ability to read blueprints, follow production specifications, perform basic welding functions, and maintain high quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
• Regular bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, noise, sparks, and moving equipment.
• Must be able to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and steel-toed boots.
