Job summary

Hitachi Rail Honolulu JV is seeking a skilled MMIS Specialist based in Pearl City, HI, to assure MMIS functionality across the project lifecycle. You will coordinate with design, build, and O&M teams, manage access controls, and drive system improvements within Maximo, ensuring accurate documentation and timely reporting.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2–5+ years of MMIS/Maximo experience, plus strong communication and training abilities, to support end users

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Knowledge of MMIS concept and functions, with particular regard to the IBM Maximo solutions 2 to 5+ years of field experience.
• Working knowledge with one or more Rail Transit Signaling System; ATC, CBTC, PTC; ability to use testing equipment and tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update MMIS database and control access.
• Provide technical support and training to MMIS users.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
• Implement approved MMIS changes and document outcomes.
• Ensure data backups and minimize system downtime.
