Job summary

MMC Group seeks a Benefits Verification Specialist to verify patient insurance benefits and document coverage information. This remote role offers a Monday–Friday schedule and $17/hour, with BYOD and a remote-friendly setup.

You will work from home to verify eligibility, review coverage and cost share, contact insurers, and support prior authorizations when needed. Strong detail orientation and healthcare vocabulary are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of related experience or a 2-year degree.
• Healthcare, insurance, medical billing, or customer service experience preferred.
• Benefits verification experience strongly preferred.
• Strong computer, communication, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Word, and Excel.
