Job summary

LanceSoft INC. is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) for a 24-hour Critical Access Hospital in Southern Minnesota. The role covers laboratory testing, blood bank duties, phlebotomy, and support of patient care in a community setting.

Ideal candidates have ASCP certification, BLS at submission, and experience with phlebotomy and blood bank operations. On-site, full-time with a stable weekday schedule and occasional on-call duties.

Qualifications

• MLT or MLS Certification through ASCP
• AHA BLS Certification required at submission
• Phlebotomy experience required
• Blood Bank experience required
• 5+ years of laboratory experience preferred
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
• Ability to respond within 30 minutes when on call

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing as assigned in a community hospital
• Assist with blood bank responsibilities per protocols
• Perform phlebotomy when needed
• Support patient care activities within the lab team

Shift

• Full-Time (40 hours/week)
• Monday – Thursday
• 10:00 AM – 8:30 PM
• Occasional weekend rotation
• Rotating holiday coverage
• Occasional on-call responsibilities
