Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore is seeking a Medical Lab Tech to join our team and help deliver reliable patient testing across emergency and routine care. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Degree in AA., MLT (ASCP) or equivalent with 1 year of supervised technical experience in a licensed clinical laboratory preferred.
• Completion of an accredited MLT program; or a B.S. in Biology, Chemistry, or other laboratory-based Science that meets CLIA hours (or military certification).

Responsibilities

• Perform technical procedures including emergency and routine patient testing.
• Quality control and preventive maintenance responsibilities.
• Participate in quality management processes as needed.

Education

AA., MLT (ASCP) or equivalent

Responsibilities

Responsible for the performance of technical procedures, including emergency and routine patient testing, quality control, and preventive maintenance. Participates in Quality management processes as needed.

Requirements

• Must possess a high school diploma or GED
• Must possess a degree in AA., M.L.T. (ASCP) or equivalent and 1 year of supervised technical experience in a licensed clinical laboratory preferred.
• Successfully completed an accredited MLT program; or has a B.S in Biology, Chemistry, or other laboratory based Science that meets the CLIA required hours (OR completion of an approved military certification program.)

USD $25.30/Hr.

Max

USD $41.75/Hr.

Salary Information

Compensation decisions are made in alignment with internal equity, role scope, and market data to ensure fair and consistent pay practices. Most new hires are typically placed within the lower to mid-portion of the range; offers above that level are reserved for candidates with advanced or highly specialized qualifications.
