Job summary

Carroll County Memorial Hospital in Carrollton, KY is seeking a Medical Lab Technician (MLT) or Medical Tech (MT) to join the Lab Department. The position is full-time, 36 hours per week, with some weekends required.

Location: Carroll County Memorial Hospital, 309 11th St., Carrollton, KY 41008. The candidate will perform lab testing for neonatal to geriatric patients, uphold hospital core values, and communicate effectively with staff and clinicians.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree or equivalent educational requirements.
• Certification as MLT or MT (ASCP) or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff, patients, physicians and visitors.
• Ability to recognize and respond to emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Prompt accurate performance and reporting of clinical laboratory tests for patients—from neonatal to geriatric.
