Job summary

Baptist Health Louisville's Laboratory is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist to join a fast-paced, automated core lab serving inpatients and outpatients.

Responsibilities include performing tests across chemistry, hematology, blood bank, and microbiology with an emphasis on accuracy and turnaround time. Requires a bachelor’s or associate degree and certification within one year of hire; new grads welcome and experienced technologists preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences or an Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology is required.
• Must become certified within one year of hire.
• Previous work experience in high complexity testing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing in chemistry, hematology, blood bank, and microbiology.
• Support testing for inpatients and outpatients with a quick turnaround time.
• Operate in a fast-paced, automated laboratory environment.
• Contribute to learning and growth opportunities within the lab.
