Job summary

Qualifications

• Meets CLIA requirements for high complexity testing.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes patient, control and proficiency testing specimens and records results in a timely manner.
• Oversees instrument calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting and quality control.
• Coordinates quality assurance and quality improvement activities for the department.
• Instructs, orients and mentors students, employees, residents and other health care providers as applicable.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital standards.
