Job summary

Carter BloodCare in Texas seeks a dedicated professional to participate in Reference & Transfusion (R&T) Services, performing testing and services within regulatory and accrediting scopes. You will contribute to quality and safety in transfusion medicine and support CBC customers.

The role requires maintaining licensure, attending meetings and trainings, and occasional travel between CBC sites. Flexibility for varied shifts, overtime, and full-time attendance is expected as part of operational

Responsibilities

• Participate in all activities within Reference & Transfusion (R&T) Services, including performing testing and services associated with assigned departmental duties within the scope of complexity defined by accrediting agencies, and participating in competency, proficiency, and educational activities.
• Ensure daily R&T laboratory operations meet all established regulatory and quality standards, deliver excellence in transfusion services, and support the needs of all R&T customers.
• Exemplify and champion Carter BloodCare Core Values and Code of Conduct, and adhere to CBC policies and applicable SOPs.
• Attend meetings and training sessions, as assigned.
• Maintain active and current professional licensure and/or certifications, as required by role-specific regulations and organizational requirements.
• Travel periodically between assigned work areas to support other locations/projects in CBC service regions, and attend in-services, training, and meetings.
• Work varied shifts, extended hours, weekends, and/or overtime to support operational needs.
• Maintain regular full-time attendance during normal working hours.
