Job summary

Kensho, S&P Global’s AI hub in Cambridge, MA, is seeking an MLOps Engineer to empower ML engineers with robust tooling and scalable processes. You will work across ML workflow stages, collaborate with diverse teams, and help productionize research into mature products. The role offers strong benefits and dynamic, open collaboration.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in ML infra, ML Ops, ML Engineering or similar.
• Proficiency in Python and cloud platforms (AWS).
• Experience with Kubernetes and distributed computing/workflow systems (Ray, Airflow).
• Strong communication skills and ability to drive tool adoption across teams.

Responsibilities

• Iterate on Kensho’s ML processes to develop tools, services, and frameworks that are robust, auditable, and usable.
• Collaborate with ML engineers to understand processes, identify pain points, and implement solutions.
• Provide stable tooling to rapidly experiment and turn research into prototypes and mature products.
• Evaluate and champion open source/third-party solutions and integrate into the platform ecosystem.
• Ship scalable, automated processes for model fine-tuning, RL, and evaluation of LLMs/Agents.
• Improve observability of LLMs and agentic applications in production to detect performance drift.
• Stay at the frontier by tracking emerging tools and promoting best practices across the team.
