Job summary

Kensho is the AI innovation hub for S&P Global, focused on ML, NLP, and data discovery across the enterprise and customers. The MLOps team enables engineers with state‑of‑the‑art tooling while shaping the platform for scalable, robust AI products.

We seek an MLOps Engineer passionate about building mature ML platforms, collaborating with ML engineers, and delivering production‑ready models and agents. This role supports hybrid work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in ML infra, ML Ops, ML Engineering or similar.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Cloud Platform (AWS) understanding with EKS and SageMaker/Bedrock experience.
• Python proficiency in a Python shop.
• Familiarity with distributed computing frameworks and workflow orchestration like Ray and Airflow.
• Familiarity with ML concepts, LLMs and agents.
• Strong debugging across infrastructure, networking and application layers.
• Excellent communication to drive adoption of new tools across teams.

Responsibilities

• Iterate on ML processes to develop tools, services, and frameworks for robust, auditable ML workflows.
• Collaborate with ML engineers to understand processes and solve pain points.
• Provide stable tooling to accelerate experiments from research to prototypes and products.
• Evaluate and champion open source/3rd‑party solutions and integrate them into the platform.
• Ship scalable, automated processes for model fine‑tuning, RL and LLM/Agent evaluation.
• Improve observability of LLMs and agentic applications in production.
• Stay at the frontier by tracking emerging tools and spreading best practices across the team.
