Job summary

PathAI is seeking software engineering co-ops for September–December 2026 in Boston, MA. You’ll help lay the groundwork for ML automation systems, working across cloud infrastructure (AWS and on-prem), Kubernetes, and distributed systems.

You’ll gain a broad, hands-on introduction to ML automation while collaborating with teams across engineering and infrastructure. We value curious, driven students pursuing CS or related fields with at least 50% completed, and a demonstrated ability to learn

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's or Master's in CS or related field, with at least 50% completed.
• Previous employer or internship in this field is beneficial.
• Insatiable intellectual curiosity and ability to learn quickly in a complex space.

Responsibilities

• Solve interesting problems with code.
• Build new features for internal users, and refactor existing ones to improve them.
• Interface directly with team members at all levels.
• Work with a wide range of systems, processes, and technologies to solve problems sustainably.
• Collaborate with machine learning and infrastructure teams.
• Drive and uphold high engineering standards, ensuring code is reviewed, tested, and integrated.
