TrulyHired is seeking a qualified RI Multilingual Learners Teacher/Coordinator to provide English Language Development instruction for the 2024-25 school year. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree, relevant teaching experience, and certifications in TESOL or Bilingual Education.

This role requires collaboration with classroom teachers and participation in professional development activities. Teachers at Achievement First are offered a competitive salary ranging from $50,600 to $89,989, along with benefits such as health insurance and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Two years of teaching experience preferred with a proven record of high student achievement.
• Bachelor's degree with a GPA of at least 3.0; Master's degree preferred.
• New York certified in TESOL or Bilingual Education or in process of obtaining a certification.
• Rhode Island certified in ESL.
• Connecticut certified in TESOL/or Bilingual Education or in process of obtaining certification.

Responsibilities

• Plans and provides for English Language Development instruction.
• Creates a classroom environment that fosters student involvement.
• Monitors and evaluates student outcomes, maintaining appropriate records.
• Supports multilingual students and models an assets-based mindset.
