Job summary

Crowe is seeking a data science/ML toolkit engineer to help build reusable libraries and services for machine learning products. You will collaborate with data scientists to move models from prototype to production and contribute to a culture of reuse across projects.

You’ll work within a Linux/Docker environment, focusing on robust software engineering practices, tests, and documentation, while growing your skills in cloud and CI/CD.

Qualifications

• Experience coding with Python; other languages like C/C++ or Go are a plus.
• Strong software engineering background with data structures and algorithms.
• Comfort in Linux and building RESTful APIs with Docker.
• Experience with cloud computing, distributed systems, and CI/CD is a plus.
• Able to work autonomously and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Curiosity about ML and ability to adapt to toolkit/library development.

Responsibilities

• Execute tasks to achieve the project's technical vision.
• Support client intake conversations and data exploration for new projects.
• Develop features and bug fixes to support mature ML products.
• Collaborate with data scientists to move models from prototype to production.
• Champion the use of toolkit libraries and services.
• Mentor teammates through code reviews and pair programming.
