Job summary

Crowe is seeking a software engineer for the Data Science Toolkit team in the United States. You will contribute to ML tools, libraries, and services, collaborating with data scientists to move models from prototype to production.

The role emphasizes Python, with exposure to C/C++, Go, and Docker on Linux. You’ll work across cloud, CI/CD, and distributed systems, while maintaining strong communication and autonomy.

Qualifications

• Programming experience; primarily Python; familiarity with C/C++ and Go is a plus.
• Software engineering experience with algorithm design and data structures.
• Comfort with Linux-based systems and using Docker to develop and deliver RESTful APIs.
• Additional experience in cloud computing, distributed systems, and CI/CD is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and autonomy to manage time between research and tool development.

Responsibilities

• Develop libraries and services addressing common requirements for ML products.
• Collaborate with data scientists to move models from prototype to production.
• Champion the use and adoption of Toolkit libraries and services.
• Define common problems within the Data Science Team to enable reuse.
• Support project tasks across the development lifecycle and ensure code quality.
