Job summary

Nissan is seeking a Machine Learning Research Intern in Santa Clara, CA for a 12-week program. You will join the EV & Energy Services team to develop data-driven ML and simulation tools for mobility services and fleet operations.

You will work with researchers and engineers on model training, evaluation, and KPI development, and communicate findings to technical and business audiences. On-site work required.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a Master's or PhD in a technical field.
• Strong Python programming skills and ML/data science tool experience.
• GPA of 3.0 or above and on-site work in Santa Clara, CA.

Responsibilities

• Develop, train, validate, and optimize ML and simulation models for mobility services.
• Analyze vehicle, charging, fleet, and battery data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Collaborate with researchers and engineers on feature engineering and KPI development.
• Communicate findings via reports and visualizations; contribute to IP initiatives.
