Job summary

You will bootstrap core ML Platform components such as Serving Layer, Model Registry, and Pipeline Orchestrator, set SLAs, and drive a scalable infrastructure strategy with strong cost controls. Equity compensation applies for full-time employees.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience and strong system design experience to build scalable ML platform.
• Code-focused: shipping product with strong user feedback awareness.
• Proficient in API design and developer experience—gRPC/REST APIs, SDKs, CLIs, and UIs.
• Experience with ML model lifecycle and GPU resources is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own platform as a product and define direction end to end: APIs, SDKs, CLIs, and UIs for ML adoption.
• Bootstrap and maintain core ML Platform components: Serving Layer, Model Registry, Pipeline Orchestrator.
• Set strategy and oversee high-scale, reliable infrastructure with clear SLOs.
• Design great developer experiences with templates and docs to speed production.
• Instrument platform metrics to guide roadmap and measure success.
• Collaborate with ML Engineering, Data Science, Infra/SRE, Security, Finance to optimize performance and cost.
• Mentor engineers, lead design reviews, drive cross-team decisions.
