ML OPS Engineer

Job summary

Themesoft Inc is seeking an experienced architect to lead the design, development and deployment of multi-tier web/mobile apps and APIs. You will drive ML infrastructure in the Cloud (AWS preferred) with automated CI/CD pipelines and data pipelines for training and evaluation of ML models.

You will mentor juniors and work within Agile teams to deliver scalable cloud solutions. Applicants should have 6+ years in architecture and cloud deployment, strong knowledge of Spark/Snowflake data

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in developing ML infrastructure in the Cloud (AWS preferred) for DataOps, MLOps and DevOps including creation of automated CI/CD pipelines for ML models and deploying ML solutions to production.
• 3+ years of experience with building data pipelines using distributed data processing frameworks (e.g., Spark) and CI/CD tools, version control (Git), and Artifactory.
• Strong knowledge of Cloud computing and IaC, with hands-on experience deploying apps in the Cloud.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS CLI, CloudFormation, and AWS services (EC2, EMR, EKS, S3).
• Familiarity with UV, Pip, Flask, Anaconda, and mentoring junior developers; Agile (Kanban/SCRUM).
• Knowledge of LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, GPT, Llama, Qwen, BERT) and LangChain/LangGraph tooling.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design and deploy multi-tier web and mobile apps, APIs in the cloud.
• Develop ML infrastructure in Cloud for DataOps, MLOps and DevOps with CI/CD.
• Build data pipelines to source data for ML models and evaluation.
• Leverage IaC and cloud services for scalable deployments and operations.
• Mentor junior developers on tool stacks and best practices.

Job Location: Available at 3 Locations - Burlington, MA or Durham, NC or Irving, TX.

Employment Type: Full-time Role.

Experience: 3 - 5 years.

Job Description: Over 6 years of experience in architecture, design, development, and deployment of multi-tier internet facing web and mobile applications, APIs.

• 5 years of experience in developing ML infrastructure in the Cloud (AWS preferred) for DataOps, MLOps and DevOps including creation of automated CI/CD pipelines for ML models and deploying ML solutions to production.
• 3+ years of experience with building data pipelines in getting the data required to build, train and evaluate ML models, using tools like Apache Spark, Snowflake or other distributed data processing frameworks and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins or equivalent), version control (Git), Artifactory.
• Solid knowledge of Cloud computing and infrastructure as code (IaS), hands-on experience with developing and deploying and managing applications in the Cloud.
• You have working knowledge with Cloud Technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, AWS CLI, AWS CloudFormation, and AWS services including EC2, EMR, EKS, S3 and Big Data ML toolkits, such as SparkML and Amazon SageMaker.
• Good understanding of UV, Pip, Flask, Anaconda, or similar tool stack and ability to mentor junior developers on their usage.
• Solid work experience in Agile methodologies such as Kanban and SCRUM.
• Knowledge of applied data science methods, feature engineering and machine learning algorithms, and usage of word embeddings in Natural Language Processing.
• Working knowledge with open and closed weight language models(LLM) and providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, GPT, Llama, Qwen or BERT
• Working knowledge of orchestration and observability services and libraries such as LangChain, LangGraph, LangFuse, LangSmith, MLFlow, or similar.
