Job summary

General Motors in Sunnyvale is seeking a Software Engineer to scale our backend platform for performance, reliability, and usability. You will design core components and interface with GPU hardware and orchestration systems to improve system architecture and user experience.

You’ll work with cloud platforms like GCP, Azure, or AWS, and collaborate across GM’s ML ecosystem on large initiatives. Hybrid role requiring onsite presence in Sunnyvale several days a week.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industry experience.
• Proficiency in Go, C++, or Python; distributed systems experience.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, or Amazon Web Services.
• Hands-on experience with ML platforms and Kubernetes at scale (preferred).

Responsibilities
