Job summary

DoorDash’s MDX team sits within Machine Learning Platform and builds the shared foundation that ML engineers across DoorDash, Wolt, and Deliveroo rely on to build and run ML-powered products. We work across the full ML lifecycle: feature engineering, training, evaluation, deployment, serving, and monitoring.

You will join a small, high-leverage team building the agentic layer of DoorDash's ML infrastructure.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in CS or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience building ML infrastructure in production.
• Strong backend and Python skills.
• Experience with production observability and debugging.

Responsibilities

• Build agentic systems to accelerate ML development across DoorDash, Wolt, and Deliveroo.
• Design infrastructure for proposing, running, and evaluating modeling experiments.
• Develop agent evaluation and observability to measure usefulness and catch regressions.
• Collaborate with ML engineers, data scientists, and platform teams to turn workflows into reusable platform capabilities.
• Own components end-to-end from design through production, across orchestration and tooling.
