Job summary

DoorDash’s MDX team builds the agentic layer of ML infrastructure that powers ML engineers across DoorDash, Wolt, and Deliveroo. You will design and build systems enabling rapid model development, training, evaluation, deployment, and observability, with a focus on agent orchestration and tooling.

You will own components end-to-end, from design to production, collaborating with ML engineers, data scientists, and platform teams while growing into technical leadership in a fast-moving area where

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 2+ years of industry software engineering experience.
• Hands-on ML infra experience: feature stores, data pipelines, training platforms, deployment, monitoring.
• Strong Python and distributed systems backend fundamentals.
• Production OS experience: testing, observability, debugging, reliability.
• Ability to take ambiguous problems to production, learn quickly in a fast-moving area.
• Proficiency with AI coding tools (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor).

Responsibilities

• Design and build agentic infrastructure across orchestration, tooling, and integrations.
• Own components end-to-end from design through production.
• Develop evaluation and observability for agent behavior.
• Collaborate with ML engineers, data scientists, and platform teams to turn workflows into durable platform capabilities.
• Build systems to help training jobs, debug pipelines, review deployments, and navigate the ML platform.
