Job summary

Stand Insurance is looking for an experienced MLE Team Lead to guide our Applied Science team in developing cutting-edge AI capabilities. You will be responsible for managing and growing the engineering team while also leading critical AI initiatives directly.

This role requires proficiency in modern machine learning tooling and experience in delivering complex technical projects. The base salary range for this position is competitive at $250,000 to $295,000 per year, with additional equity and benefits.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with modern ML tooling and infrastructure.
• Experience leading engineers and technical initiatives.
• Strong project ownership and execution skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Machine Learning Engineering sub-team defining priorities and coordinating execution.
• Manage and grow the team running 1-on-1s and performance reviews.
• Design, build, and deploy machine learning systems spanning various technologies.

Skills

Proficiency with modern ML tooling and infrastructure
