Job summary

Jumio in Palo Alto seeks an experienced ML/DL engineer to own core computer vision models for identity verification and fraud detection. You will lead development from research to production, shaping model behaviors and system performance.

Responsibilities include deploying models via AWS SageMaker or on-device services, ensuring robust production monitoring, and collaborating with product managers and engineers in an Agile framework to translate ML metrics into tangible product goals.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of commercial ML/DL experience (or 2+ years with a Master’s) in CS/DS.
• Direct experience training DL models for deepfake, synthetic data, or generative AI detection.
• Strong production Python skills with PyTorch or TensorFlow, scikit-learn; AWS/GCP experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and own core computer vision models for identity verification and fraud detection offerings.
• Deploy models as AWS SageMaker endpoints or on-device microservices with production monitoring and MLOps.
• Research and collaborate with product managers and engineers in an Agile environment.
