Job summary

Jumio seeks an experienced Machine Learning Engineer IV to advance fraud-detection, ID verification, and AML solutions. You will develop and own core CV models, deploy them to production, and collaborate across teams to maintain robust, scalable ML systems.

The role emphasizes deep learning, computer vision, and the practical translation of ML metrics into product goals, with cloud and on-device deployment in a global, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• 6+ years of commercial ML/DL experience (2 years with Master’s).
• Experience with training DL models for deepfakes, synthetic data, or GenAI data detection.
• Strong understanding of translating ML metrics to product goals.
• Hands-on with PyTorch or TensorFlow, scikit-learn, and production-grade Python code.
• Experience implementing monitoring and maintaining ML models in production.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and own key fraudulent CV models for Jumio’s fraud product offering.
• Design and implement ML and deep learning models for fraud detection.
• Research to support deployment of advanced algorithms.
• Deploy models as AWS SageMaker endpoints or on devices.
• Stay updated with ML, DL, CV advancements via papers and conferences.
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers in an Agile environment.
