Jumio is seeking a Staff/Senior Machine Learning Engineer specialized in computer vision and biometrics to drive production face recognition systems on AWS. You will design, train, and deploy end-to-end ML pipelines, including data ingestion, training, and scalable inference.

You will mentor engineers, shape technical direction, and ensure models meet fairness and privacy considerations across datasets and operating conditions.

Competenze

• 5+ years in Machine Learning with focus on computer vision or biometrics
• Strong Python engineering skills and production-ready code
• Experience with ML pipelines and data orchestration
• Hands-on AWS experience including SageMaker, EC2, and EKS

Mansioni

• Lead design and development of computer vision biometrics systems (face attributes, detection, quality, recognition)
• Architect, train, and optimize models; design automated data ingestion and cleaning pipelines
• Own production deployment and low-latency inference optimizations (quantization, distillation, TensorRT/ONNX) on AWS
• Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices across the CV team
