Qualifications

• Pursuing a Master’s degree in a quantitative field (CS, ML, Data Science, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, Maths).
• Foundational Python programming experience from coursework or projects.
• Understanding of software engineering concepts (data structures, algorithms, testing, version control).
• Experience with AI/ML systems, observability, or evaluation concepts.
• Familiarity with Git or another version control system.
• Strong collaborative spirit and clear communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design, implementation, testing, and improvement of AI platform capabilities.
• Build on AI platform components to support new AI-powered product experiences.
• Help develop conversational interfaces and integration with backend services.
• Contribute to AI observability, metrics, and debugging for ML engineering.
• Write clean Python code following engineering standards.
• Collaborate with Data Science/Engineering partners to integrate models and data workflows.
• Participate in CI/CD, testing, and monitoring for ML work.
• Document findings, perform root-cause analysis, and participate in code reviews.
• Engage in agile ceremonies and cross-functional meetings.
• Document technical decisions and lessons learned from projects.
