Warner Bros. Discovery is seeking a passionate Machine Learning Engineer to support and scale the personalization and search platforms for HBO Max and related streaming initiatives.

You will work in a fast-paced environment focused on engineering excellence, experimentation, and data-driven decision making, serving 100+ million users globally with a team of ML engineers and researchers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industry experience in ML or applied data science.
• Direct experience with large-scale recommender systems is ideal.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to building and scaling a recommendation system for HBO Max and other WBD apps.
• Develop ML systems and ops for personalization.
• Collaborate with applied science engineers to improve quality and stability of search and personalization platforms.
• Drive observability, scalability, cost-optimization, and performance tuning of recommendations services.
• Collaborate with platform, content, user data and product partners as HBO Max expands to new markets.
