Qualifications

• BS/BA in CS or Data Science or related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years delivering ML models or data-intensive backend systems.
• Proficient Python or Java with strong coding skills.
• Hands-on experience with modern ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, scikit-learn).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy high-throughput AI/ML and NLP models for Yahoo Mail.
• Leverage AI-assisted engineering practices to optimize coding, testing, and iteration cycles.
• Process massive datasets with big data pipelines while maintaining security and performance.
• Contribute to architectural evolution migrating backend ML services to public cloud (GCP).
