Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2-5 years of hands-on experience as a Machine Learning Engineer, with proven production-model work.
• Solid CS fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, complexity analysis, and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, and deploy production-ready AI agents and workflows for enterprise apps.
• Implement evaluation, monitoring, guardrails, and safety frameworks for de-risking LLM-powered apps.
• Develop and maintain AI-enabled features within Java/Spring platform and microservices.
• Collaborate with AI scientists and ML engineers to productionize models.
• Stay updated with emerging AI technologies and advise on adoption strategies.
• Work with specialists, tech-ops, and product managers for feedback.
• Participate in design reviews and requirement planning to grow technical skills.
• Attend stand-ups, prioritize features, and deliver value with urgency.
• Prototype and test innovative solutions to large problems.

We're hiring an ML Engineer II to help expand and scale our Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence capabilities. In this role, you will work on core AI initiatives across multiple business units, execute against established engineering standards for production AI systems, and help build and harden our AI Agents for Healthcare.

As an ML Engineer II, you should love building simple solutions to solve hard customer problems, crafting reliable code in an agile environment, and taking ownership of software quality from end to end. You will work within our existing Java and Spring-based platform, adding and modernizing enterprise application features with advanced AI capabilities while growing your software engineering expertise alongside senior team members.

What You'll Do

• Build, test, and deploy production-ready AI agents and agentic workflows that integrate seamlessly with enterprise applications and business processes.
• Implement robust evaluation, monitoring, guardrail, and safety frameworks defined by senior team members to de-risk LLM-powered applications.
• Develop and maintain AI-enabled features within our existing Java/Spring platform and distributed microservices ecosystem.
• Collaborate with AI Scientists and ML Engineers to productionize models and translate experimentation into reliable software.
• Staying up to date with emerging AI technologies and recommending pragmatic adoption strategies that improve product capabilities and developer productivity.
• Work closely with, and incorporate feedback from other specialists, tech-ops, and product managers.
• Participate in design reviews, technical discussions, and requirement planning to continuously grow technical skills and domain knowledge.
• Attend daily stand-up meetings, collaborate with your peers, prioritize features, and work with a sense of urgency to deliver value to your customers.
• Finding quick ways to prototype and test possible solutions to large problems.
