TikTok is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer Graduate for the TikTok-Data-Search-Recommendation-Global E-Commerce team in Seattle. You will work on building and owning TikTok's search engine, combining information retrieval techniques with modern machine learning methods from NLP, CV, and recommender systems.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the improvement of the search core algorithm, leveraging NLP, CV and LLM to match the most relevant videos for each search query and improve search relevance.
• Model user behavior to enhance personalization in TikTok search.
• Design, build, test, and maintain search services, data pipelines, tools, or platform components to support search quality, reliability, latency, and user experience.
