Job summary

Freedom Technology Solutions Group seeks a Machine Learning Engineer to align enterprise services with Federal data standards and formats. You will review datasets, map KSAs, and guide data cleansing and migration planning.

You will build a skills inventory, coordinate with systems engineers, HR, SMEs, and project managers, and establish a repeatable process to collect and maintain competency data. The role emphasizes analytical rigor and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience designing relational and NoSQL database schemas and scripting.
• Experience with ETL tools.
• Experience with APIs or data services.
• Strong Python, Java, and Scala skills.
• Experience with ML/AI software and AWS analytics.
• Experience with Hadoop.

Responsibilities

• Establish a repeatable process to scrape and collect skills from performance reviews.
• Create an access-controlled data collection and database for jobs, competencies, KSAs.
• Create a data migration plan to export collected skills into Sponsor systems.
• Scrape, collate, and analyze skill sets from various sources for the skills repository.
• Review and analyze all Sponsor service competency data for addition to the skill repository.
• Collaborate with internal Sponsor offices to review and update competency data.
• Evaluate the Sponsor's ML/AI offerings and integration opportunities.
