MORSE Corp is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer Co-op in Cambridge, MA. You will design, implement, and manage ML models, acquire truth data, and integrate algorithms for production use on on-prem, cloud, or embedded systems.

The role emphasizes CV/LLM-related work, MLOps, and staying current with AI research while contributing to mission-critical environments for US National Security. Strong Python and cloud experience are required.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required and the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
• Pursuing degree in CS/CE/Data Science/Math/Physics or related field.
• Experience applying CV models and fine-tuning models.
• Experience testing AI in real-world applications.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS and Azure).
• Experience with Docker.
• Experience with Data processing and MLOps tools such as Airflow, MLFlow, AimStack.
• Experience with Agentic AI (even hobby projects).

Responsibilities

• Develop, fine-tune, train, and optimize machine learning models.
• Use MLOps tools for experiment tracking, data management, and reproducibility.
• Write robust, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Track the latest advancements with machine learning research to bring new techniques to MORSE.
• Conduct experiments and evaluate CV models for effectiveness and efficiency.
