Job summary

MORSE Corp seeks a Machine Learning Engineer Co-op to design, implement, and manage ML algorithms and systems across on-prem, cloud, or embedded platforms. You will acquire truth data, integrate algorithms, test them, review literature, and help productionize models for US National Security applications.

Ideal candidates are pursuing BS/MS/PhD in CS/CE/DS or related fields, with Python proficiency, Docker experience, and familiarity with cloud services (AWS/Azure) and MLOps tools. U.S.

Qualifications

• US citizenship and the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.
• Pursuing degree (BS/MS/PhD) in CS/CE/DS/related fields.
• Proven CV model development and fine-tuning experience.
• Experience testing AI technologies in real-world apps.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
• Experience with Docker.
• Experience with data processing and MLOps tools (Airflow, MLFlow, AimStack).
• Experience with Agentic AI (even hobby projects).

Responsibilities

• Develop, fine-tune, train, and optimize machine learning models
• Use MLOps tools for efficient experiment tracking, data management, and reproducibility
• Write robust, efficient, and maintainable code
• Track the latest advancements with machine learning research to bring new techniques and methodologies to MORSE
• Conduct experiments and perform rigorous evaluations to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of CV models
