Job summary

MORSE Corp in Cambridge, MA seeks Data Scientist co-ops to develop analysis and application software for AI/ML. You will work with a diverse team of scientists, engineers and software developers on frontend and backend data workflows.

We're looking for self-starters with Python, data visualization, and ML experience, capable of iterative, agile development. You will contribute to DoD-related AI solutions and collaborate across teams to ship features.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS/BA in CS, data science, engineering or related field.
• Proficient in Python.
• Experience with data analysis and visualization.
• Familiar with scikit-learn, pandas or numpy is a plus.
• Experience with Git or other version control platforms.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, manage, and analyze AI data using Python.
• Perform data analysis to understand model performance and metadata impact.
• Create data visualizations to present results and solutions.
• Assist with development, execution, and testing of ML models.
• Design and build analysis/application software using Python.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Continuously discover and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
