Job summary

HavocAI in Providence, RI, seeks a Data & ML Infrastructure Engineer to build data pipelines and tooling that transform video, imagery, telemetry, and sensor data into organized, searchable datasets for ML training and evaluation.

You will own the HavocAI data lake ingestion, storage, metadata, labeling, and dataset generation, enabling Autonomy and Perception engineers to improve models and deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering, ML infrastructure, data platforms, or related roles.
• Experience designing and operating production data pipelines for large-scale datasets.
• Experience with video, imagery, telemetry, sensor data, or similar high-volume data.
• Strong programming in Python and SQL.
• Experience with cloud storage, data lakes, distributed processing, and modern data platforms.
• Knowledge of dataset versioning, metadata management, and reproducible data workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain infrastructure for video, imagery, telemetry, sensor data, and mission data.
• Own data ingestion, storage, indexing, metadata, and lifecycle management in the data lake.
• Develop scalable pipelines turning raw data into curated datasets for ML training and evaluation.
• Create tools for searching, filtering, tagging, and retrieving data across platforms and events.
• Design infrastructure to handle multimodal data at scale.
• Collaborate with Autonomy, Perception, Software, and Field Ops teams.
