Job summary

HavocAI is hiring a Data & ML Infrastructure Engineer to build and operate the data lake and pipelines for multimodal autonomous-system datasets. You will own ingestion, storage, metadata, and dataset generation to support model training and evaluation.

You will collaborate with Autonomy, Perception, Software, and Field Operations teams, ensuring data quality, reproducibility, and scalable tooling. A strong Python/SQL background, cloud data platforms, and data governance are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Data Science, ML, or related field.
• 3+ years in data engineering, ML infrastructure or related roles.
• Experience designing production data pipelines for large-scale datasets.
• Experience with video, imagery, telemetry, or other high-volume data.
• Strong Python and SQL programming skills.
• Experience with cloud data platforms and data lakes.
• Familiarity with data lineage, metadata, and reproducible workflows.
• Strong testing, reliability, and observability fundamentals.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data ingestion, storage, and indexing for multimodal datasets.
• Develop scalable pipelines to curate ML-ready datasets for training and evaluation.
• Create search, tagging, and retrieval tools across missions and data streams.
• Collaborate with Autonomy, Perception, Software, and Field Ops teams.
• Ensure data quality, lineage, and observability across pipelines.
• Support annotation workflows and dataset versioning.
• Integrate data infrastructure with model training and experiment tracking.
