Job summary

Waystar, Inc. is seeking an Application Engineer to design, build, and implement web applications and back-end services for internal customers. You’ll work with cloud components and generative AI on Google Cloud, ensuring code quality and SDLC adherence.

The role requires 2–5 years of experience, strong coding skills in C#/.NET, Python, SQL, and familiarity with MVC, containers, and GCP. Collaboration and fast-paced adaptability are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years of experience in software development.
• Proficient in C#/.NET; experience with Python and SQL.
• Experience with MVC, containers, and Google Cloud Platform.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement improvements or new features.
• Build back-end services and web applications for internal customers.
• Work with Google Cloud Platform and generative AI services.
• Adhere to coding standards and SDLC processes.
• Unit test changes and coordinate with business owners to meet requirements.
• Participate in deployment and post-release smoke testing.
