NVIDIA in Austin, TX seeks an ML/AI Physical Design Methodology Engineer to join our Networking Silicon team. You will architect, integrate, and deploy ML-driven solutions into production physical design flows, shaping high-speed, low-latency chips.

The role requires 5+ years in ML/AI solution development, strong Python and Tcl, and experience automating workflows within Physical Design. You’ll collaborate across P&R, timing, power, and back-end verification to deliver optimal PPA.

Formación

• MS in Electrical, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science, or equivalent
• 5+ years in ML/AI solution development
• Experience automating workflows
• Strong Python and Tcl programming with ML frameworks
• Proven ML-based solutions and exposure to Physical Design workflows
• Familiarity with P&R and timing analysis workflows

What You’ll Be Doing

• Architect, integrate, and deploy AI/ML-driven solutions into production physical design flows
• Key responsibility includes developing unique and creative solutions to the state‑of‑the‑art physical design problems to improve PPA
• Knowledge and experience to formulate and develop with ML-based solutions
• Participate in developing flow and tool methodologies for P&R, timing analysis and closure, convergence in IR/Signal‑EM, power and noise analysis and back‑end verification across multiple projects along with chip floorplan, power and clock distribution, chip assembly.
• Data based analysis and algorithmic solutions for PPA check and improvement.

What We Need To See

• MS in Electrical, Computer Engineering, computer science (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years’ experience in ML/AI based solution development
• Experience and ability to form and automate workflow
• Strong Python and Tcl programming skills with familiarity in ML frameworks
• Proven implementation of ML‑based solutions
• Exposure of Physical Design workflows

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 136,000 USD - 218,500 USD for Level 3, and 168,000 USD - 264,500 USD for Level 4.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
