Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD) seeks a motivated ML/AI intern/co-op student to join our team in a hybrid or on-site capacity in the United States.

You will contribute to research and development of next-generation features, working alongside expert ML engineers and researchers. The role emphasizes learning new technologies, analyzing algorithms, and applying machine learning to source code analysis and image-related tasks.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a US-based university for an undergraduate degree in computer science, computer engineering, data science or a related field.
• Knowledge of ML, data science, computer vision, statistics and math.
• Experience with Python, C/C++, SQL (and NoSQL) and ML frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Participate in research and development of ML/AI features for AMD products.
• Analyze and implement changes to algorithms to improve AI performance and user experiences.
• Collaborate with ML engineers, data scientists and software teams on project work.
• Contribute to AI software roadmaps, collateral development, and customer engagements.
