Job summary

RingCentral in Belmont, CA, seeks an ML/AI Engineer to design and optimize scalable AI/ML solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build data pipelines, deploy models, and maintain AI platforms in a fast-paced cloud environment.

Your work includes applying Generative AI, maintaining ML lifecycle practices, and supporting large distributed systems used by millions of customers daily. On-site, remote, and hybrid options are available.

Qualifications

• U.S. Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Engineering or a related field, or foreign equivalent, plus two years of related experience, is required.
• U.S. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Data Science, Computer Engineering or a related field plus five years of related experience is required.
• Experience with analytics, ML, data science, platform development, CI/CD, and Docker is required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product, Data, and Engineering teams to develop AI/ML solutions.
• Establish ML operations and lifecycle management practices.
• Design, build, and manage scalable ML infrastructure.
• Develop, validate, deploy, and monitor ML models and applications.
• Create and maintain optimized data pipelines.
• Utilize Python, R, Scala, Java and CI/CD automation.
• Implement Generative AI models and workflows (ASR, LLM, TTS, RAG, Search).
• Scale and support large distributed systems serving millions daily.
• Maintain RingCentral’s internal AI platform and tools.
• Build Agentic AI products to drive business value.
