Job summary

Google seeks an AI/ML Accelerator Modeling Engineer to advance on-device ML accelerators with robust C-models and system-level simulations. You will collaborate with hardware, verification, firmware, and software teams to ensure accurate, scalable, and cycle-approximate models that guide hardware implementations.

You will contribute to silicon-oriented development, performance optimization, and integration across organizations, shaping next-gen hardware experiences for Google’s products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in EE/CE/CS.
• 4 years of software development experience in C, C++ or Python.
• Experience in AI/ML accelerator architecture or reference C-model development.

Responsibilities

• Architect and drive the software infrastructure and architecture for on-device AI/ML accelerators.
• Implement, model, analyze, and rigorously test C-models for on-device ML accelerators.
• Develop and maintain robust software environments to support ML accelerator development, testing, and simulation.
• Lead the end-to-end delivery of sophisticated ML accelerator C-models, supporting hardware implementation and verification efforts.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with hardware architects, verification, firmware, and compiler teams to build cycle-approximate models.
