Job summary

Peppermill Resort Spa Casino in Sparks, NV seeks a Bartender to provide guests with friendly, efficient service, greet guests and balance a bank accurately while maintaining a clean, safe bar area.

Responsibilities include knowing the script, handling pre, running, and post shift side work, using the POS, and ensuring drink quality and proper pricing; must be 21+, speak English, and able to lift 25 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Minimum 1 year of previous bartending experience is preferred.
• Able to work any day of the week and any shift.
• Must repeatedly lift 25 lbs. to chest and stand for long periods of time.
• Be able to speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Knows the script and hours/days of operation.
• Completes pre, running, and post shift side work requirements.
• Ability to prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic beverages accurately and quickly.
• Knowledge of drink pricing including tier levels.
• Knowledge of Mixology.
• Ability to exercise good judgment in determining potentially intoxicated guests.
• Understanding of the tending functions of the POS system.
• Knowledge of all coupons and specials, including comp rules for player card levels.
• Continuously maintains a neat, clean, organized, safe, and comfortable environment for our guests and Team members.
• Ability to use a calculator and balance a bank with a high level of accuracy.
• Adheres to appearance and uniform standards.
• Adheres to all internal controls, policies, and procedures.
