What does a Mixing Technician do at Swire Coca-Cola?

A Syrup Technician is responsible for receiving and storing concentrate and sweetener, batching syrups per detailed instructions, monitoring syrup flow to production lines, and maintaining sanitation within the Syrup Room and equipment. Occasionally, validation and testing of inbound raw materials are required.

Job Details:

Schedule: 10pm - 6:30am (Monday - Friday, some Saturdays and overtime as needed)

Responsibilities:

• Uphold all safety practices and report hazards
• Batch syrup according to CCNA recipes
• Clean and sanitize the syrup room and equipment following safety standards and work instructions
• Analyze incoming, in-process, and finished materials
• Manage inventory of concentrates and raw materials
• Use recipe management computer systems
• Become certified to operate Powered Industrial Trucks/Forklifts
• Follow all quality, environmental, safety, and food safety policies
• Ensure compliance with ISO/GFSI, FDA/USDA regulations, and food safety programs
• Maintain accurate documentation

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 2 years lab technician experience
• Minimum 1 year production/manufacturing experience
• Preferred: 1+ years in food or beverage industry mixing and batching
• Familiar with lab safety, handling hazardous materials, able to lift 65 lbs
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Ability to work independently and multi-task
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
