Job summary

Ranger Energy Services is seeking a field operator to service and maintain mixing plant equipment, operate pumps, and manage chemical usage on coil tubing and stick pipe drill sites in Midland, TX. The role requires at least one year of relevant experience and strict adherence to safety protocols.

You will work with on-site crews, perform routine maintenance, and navigate diverse terrain while ensuring accurate records and compliance with AWS HSE standards. Proactive communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience running mixing plant, coil tubing and stick pipe drill outs.
• Knowledge of fluid and chemical compatibilities is required.
• Ability to communicate, read & write in English.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain mixing plant equipment.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and maintain maintenance records.
• Safely operate pumps for the transfer of liquid.
• Maintain and record accurate tank fluid levels.
• Rig up/down mixing plant at coil tubing, stick pipe drill outs or workover locations.
• Rig up mixing plant to reverse pumps for stick pipe units, coil tubing pump trucks.
• Mix chemicals to control downhole pressures.
• Communicate with on-site crews to use correct chemical quantities based on well conditions.
• Rig up and rig down equipment used for mixing plant operations.
• Follow AWS HSE policies, procedures and best practices; wear PPE at all times.
• Drive company vehicles over varied road conditions and terrain.
