Knight’s Companies is seeking a Mixer Truck Driver to join our Beaufort team. This role handles the safe operation of a ready-mix truck and delivers high-quality concrete to customers while representing our values and ensuring safety.

Responsibilities include efficient deliveries, load inspections, accurate paperwork, and maintaining equipment. Must have CDL, clean MVR, and good English communication. Competitive benefits and a $2,000 sign-on bonus offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid CDL Class A or B license required.
• Valid REAL ID in state of residence.
• Age: 18+ in SC, 21+ in GA.
• At least 1 year of CDL driving experience.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Clean MVR: no DUI/DWI in past 5 years; no more than 3 moving violations in past 3 years.
• Basic math skills.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.

• Inspect loads to ensure proper mix and quality (slump, texture, color).
• Verify delivery instructions and job site locations before departing the plant.
• Maintain communication with plant personnel and dispatch for delivery coordination.
• Build strong relationships with customers and provide exceptional service at all times.
• Complete required paperwork including delivery tickets, logs, and inspection reports.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on equipment.
• Maintain truck cleanliness and perform minor maintenance as needed.
• Participate in safety meetings and adhere to all safety standards.
• Support plant operations and assist team members when needed.

What You’ll Do

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred


• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL Class A or B) required


• Valid REAL ID in state of residence required


• Must be at least:




• 18 years of age for operations in South Carolina


• 21 years of age for operations in Georgia




• Minimum of one (1) year of CDL driving experience required


• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English


• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR), including:




• No DUI/DWI violations within the past five (5) years


• No more than three (3) moving violations within the past three (3) years




• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)


• Bilingual skills are a plus
