Job summary

Lauren Concrete is seeking a CDL driver to deliver concrete from Plant 5 Kyle, TX. The role requires loading, unloading, and safely handling materials, while maintaining vehicle cleanliness and accurate load tickets.

The position demands 21+ years of age, a valid Class B CDL and medical card, and the ability to pass a drug test. Prior driving experience and knowledge of ELD are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must possess a current Commercial Driver’s License (minimum class B).
• Valid Texas CDL with a violation-free DMV record.
• Pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
• Obtain a valid medical examiner’s card.
• One to three years of similar or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and unload concrete safely and efficiently.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and post-trip inspections.
• Confirm job site address prior to departure.
• Maintain a clean truck interior and exterior.
• Load, handle, deliver, and unload the product with appropriate documentation.
• Operate Electronic Logging Device (ELD).

Job Details

Job Location: Plant 5 Kyle - Kyle, TX 78640

Actively promotes a work environment within the Operations Department that consistently delivers a World Class Experience during the delivery of concrete. Responsible for delivering quality concrete safely and efficiently while adhering to all Federal, State, and local laws.

Responsibilities

• Display a positive attitude, a professional appearance and demeanor on all jobs with all customers, both internally and externally.
• Perform pre‑trip inspections: clean windshield, side windows, mirrors and cameras each time before leaving the plant or job site; check for fluid leaks, and consult Driver Vehicle Inspection Report notebook.
• Confirm job site address prior to departure.
• Maintain a clean truck interior and exterior.
• Responsible for loading, handling, delivering and unloading of the product, including slump, load tickets, revolutions, chutes, admixes, etc.
• Perform post‑trip inspection, notifying plant manager of maintenance needs.
• Understand and/or have knowledge of operation of Electronic Logging Device (ELD).
