Job summary

Lauren Concrete in Mason, TX is seeking a full-time Driver to deliver concrete safely and efficiently from Plant 20 Mason. The role requires performing pre- and post-trip inspections, maintaining truck cleanliness, and ensuring compliance with ELD and regulations. A Class B CDL and 1–3 years of related experience are preferred.

Responsibilities include loading, handling, delivering and unloading product, and adhering to safety standards while on the road and at client sites.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Texas CDL Class B license.
• 21 years of age or older.
• 1–3 years of similar experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 45–70 lbs several times a day.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
• Must obtain a medical examiner’s card.
• Clean driving record with violation-free DMV history.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Confirm job site address prior to departure.
• Load, deliver and unload concrete; manage slump, tickets, chutes, admixes.
• Conduct post-trip inspection and notify maintenance needs.
• Operate in compliance with ELD requirements and regulations.

Actively promotes a work environment within the Operations Department that consistently delivers a World Class Experience during the delivery of the concrete. Responsible for delivering quality concrete safely and efficiently while adhering to all Federal, State, and local laws.

• Display a positive attitude, a professional appearance and demeanor on all jobs with all customers, both internally and externally
• Perform pre-trip inspections: clean windshield, side windows, mirrors and cameras each time before leaving the plant or job site, check for fluid leaks, and consult Driver Vehicle Inspection Report notebook
• Confirm job site address prior to departure
• Maintain a clean truck interior and exterior
• Responsible for the process of loading, handling, delivering and unloading of the product, including the slump, load tickets, revolutions, chutes, admixes, etc.
• Perform post-trip inspection, notifying plant manager of maintenance needs.
• Understand and/or knowledge with operation of Electronic Logging Device (ELD)
