Job summary

Smyrna Ready Mix, LLC (SRM Concrete) is seeking a skilled Mixer Operator to deliver ready mix concrete on local routes and be home daily. You will operate concrete mixer trucks, load and inspect materials, and provide top-notch customer service at each site.

Qualified candidates have a Class A or B CDL with a current DOT Medical Card, a strong safety mindset, and reliable teamwork. No Sunday work and competitive compensation await the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Operate a concrete mixer truck (Class A or B CDL) to safely transport and deliver concrete to job sites.
• Load, mix, and inspect concrete to meet specs and quality standards.
• Deliver excellent customer service and represent SRM at job sites.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks.
• Follow DOT, OSHA, and company safety protocols.
• Maintain delivery and vehicle records using company systems.
• Coordinate with dispatch for scheduling and routing.
• Assist with general plant or yard duties as needed.

Your Mission & Key Responsibilities

• Operate a concrete mixer truck (Class A or B CDL) to safely transport and deliver ready mix concrete to commercial and residential job sites.
• Load, mix, and inspect concrete to meet precise specifications and quality standards.
• Deliver excellent customer service at every job site, representing SRM Concrete with professionalism and a service-first attitude.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and routine maintenance checks to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety protocols to protect yourself, your team, and the public.
• Maintain accurate delivery and vehicle records using company systems.
• Coordinate with dispatch and plant teams for efficient scheduling and routing.
• Assist with general plant or yard duties as needed.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Previous experience as a Mixer Operator, Ready Mix Driver, or in construction delivery is a plus—but we welcome motivated newcomers ready to learn!
• Willingness to complete SRM’s pre-employment screenings.
